Louisiana requires 8 hours of training within your first 30 days and 16 within 60, plus a filed registration within 20 days of hire. We handle the filing and schedule the training — your job is to show up.

Questions we get

Do I need a security license to apply?

No. If you don’t have your LSBPSE registration yet, we file it for you and cover the training, you pay nothing. What we will not do is put you on a post before the state says we can: working unregistered is illegal in Louisiana and it is your card on the line, not just our license. We file the moment you clear the paperwork, we tell you the real date you can start as soon as the board gives it to us, and we do not quote you a start date we cannot back up.

How often do I get paid?

Weekly, by direct deposit. Every officer is a W-2 employee with workers’ compensation, we don’t use 1099 subcontractors.

Do I have to buy my own uniform?

No. We issue the uniform and equipment. Louisiana requires the company name on the uniform and prohibits police-style insignia, we handle all of that.

Can I pick up extra shifts?

Yes. Open shifts get posted to the whole team; if you want hours, they’re there. Show-up bonuses apply to short-notice coverage.

What disqualifies an applicant?

Louisiana law bars registration for certain felony convictions and requires a fingerprint background check. Be upfront on your application, we’d rather work with you on what’s there than find it later.
