You sign the agreement in May, not when the storm is named

The moment a system enters the Gulf, every security company in Louisiana takes the same calls at the same time. Rates move, availability vanishes, and the negotiation you are trying to have is the worst one of the year. The clients who get covered are the ones who signed a standby agreement in the spring, when the rate and the scope were set calmly.

A standby agreement fixes the rate, defines the pre-landfall and post-storm scope, and makes activation a phone call instead of a contract. It is the single highest-leverage thing on this page and it costs nothing to have in place until it is used.

Pre-landfall is a documented lockdown, not a drive-by

Before landfall we run your site to a written checklist: secure and photograph each area, confirm what has been moved inside, record generator and fuel status, note what is left exposed and why. Every item photographed and timestamped.

That record is worth as much to your insurance claim as the coverage itself. Adjusters reconstruct condition-before from whatever exists, and a dated photo set of a properly secured site is a very different starting position from a memory.

After the storm is a different job with different rules

Roads, curfews and utilities decide what is possible, and they change daily. After Ida, Orleans Parish logged well over a hundred looting incidents and the city imposed an overnight curfew, that window, between landfall and the return of normal policing, is the whole reason this service exists.

We re-staff as soon as roads allow, we tell you honestly when they do not, and standby clients are prioritized. We will not tell you we are on our way when we are not; the value of this service is that you can plan around what we say.
