Privacy Policy
Resolute Security, LLC ("Resolute," "we," "us") is a Louisiana private security company licensed by the state board. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our phone and email, why we collect it, who sees it, and what you can do about it. Where it describes a system, that system exists, we removed every line that described one we had not built.
1. Who this covers
This policy covers people who visit this website, request a quote or contact us, call or text our number, and people who apply for a job with us. It does not cover information we handle under a signed services agreement with a client (for example, incident reports about a specific site), that information is governed by the agreement itself.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Quote and contact requests: your name, company, email address, phone number, site address or city, the service and hours you are asking about, and anything you type into the message field.
- Job applications: your name, contact details, city, work history, availability, whether you are seeking armed or unarmed work, your state security registration status, and any resume or document you upload.
- Correspondence: emails, text messages and voicemails you send us, and our notes about them.
Information collected automatically
- Stored with your form submission, in our own database. When you send a quote request or a job application, we save alongside it: your IP address, your browser user-agent string, the page or site that referred you, the country Cloudflare reports for your connection, and any campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) in the link you arrived on. We use the IP address to rate-limit abusive submissions and the rest to understand which pages and ads produce work. This data lives in our database, not just our host's, and it is deleted on the same schedule as the record it belongs to (§8).
- In the notification email. The alert an owner receives when you submit a form repeats the details you typed, and for job applications it includes the submitting IP address.
- Server and security logs. This site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare separately processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and timestamps, in order to serve the site and block abuse. That processing is on Cloudflare's schedule, not ours.
- Bot protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots. Turnstile analyzes signals from your browser and device to produce a pass or fail. It is designed not to track you across websites and does not use behavioral advertising cookies.
- No analytics. We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics product on this site, not even a privacy-preserving one. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising tag and no cross-site profile. If we ever add analytics, this line changes before it goes live, not after.
Information from calls and texts
- Your phone number, the date, time and length of the call or message, and the content of any message you send us. We may keep notes of what was discussed so the next person who picks up the phone has context.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information through this website, do not send us Social Security numbers, driver's license images, financial account details or medical information through a web form or a text message. If we need any of that during hiring, we will collect it through a secure channel and tell you why.
3. How we use it
- To answer your question, prepare a written quote, and follow up about it.
- To schedule and staff a site visit or a post, and to send you the reports you are entitled to.
- To evaluate a job application, arrange interviews, and complete the licensing and background steps Louisiana requires for security officers.
- To send service messages: quote confirmations, scheduling changes, incident notices, invoices and, if you have consented, occasional updates that are relevant to you.
- To keep the site up, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve pages that are clearly not working.
- To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Calls and text messages
As of September 10, 2026 we do not send text messages at all. We have no SMS provider connected, so every automated notification from this site goes by email only. The terms below govern texting from the moment we turn it on, and we publish them now so the consent you give is informed rather than retroactive.
If you give us your mobile number on a form, in a text, or over the phone, you agree that we may contact you at that number about your request, by call or, once the service exists, by text message, including through an automated system where applicable.
- Consent is not a condition of anything. You do not have to agree to texts in order to get a quote, hire us, or be considered for a job. Tell us to use email or phone instead and we will.
- Message frequency varies. Most people get a handful of messages about a specific quote, shift or application.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- To stop: reply STOP to any text and we will stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or call (504) 236-4820.
- We do not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes, and text-message consent is never shared.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Calls to and from our line may be recorded or monitored for quality and for accurate incident documentation. If a call is being recorded you will be told at the start of the call.
7. Job applicants and resumes
If you apply to work with us, we use what you send to evaluate your application and, if we make you an offer, to complete hiring. Louisiana requires licensed security officers to be registered with the state board, which includes submitting fingerprints for a state and federal criminal background check.
- The application form asks you to acknowledge that this role requires a fingerprint background check and state registration. That acknowledgment is not an authorization to pull a report. If a third-party background-screening company is ever used, you get a standalone written disclosure and sign a separate authorization first, as federal law requires, and you will be told what was reported if it affects the decision.
- Reference checks and any third-party screening are run after a conditional offer.
- Any voluntary self-identification information (for example, for equal-opportunity record-keeping) is kept separate from the hiring decision and is not shared with the person making it.
- We keep applications for candidates we do not hire so we can contact you about future openings, for the window in §8. Ask us to delete yours and we will, that is a real delete against our database, not a flag.
- Resume uploads are not being stored right now. Our file-storage bucket is not yet enabled, so if you attach a resume the file is discarded rather than saved and the confirmation page tells you so. Your application itself is saved in full. Send the resume by email to jobs@resolutesecurityla.com if you want us to have it, and this line goes away the day storage is live.
- Do not include Social Security numbers, dates of birth or copies of identification documents in a resume upload. We will request those securely when they are needed.
8. How long we keep it
- Quote and contact requests: up to 24 months (730 days) from when you submitted, so we can pick up where we left off. Enforced by a purge routine that deletes the row, the number in this sentence is read directly from the code that does the deleting.
- Client records: for the life of the agreement plus the period required by our insurers, our accountant and Louisiana law.
- Applications from candidates we do not hire: up to 24 months (730 days), or until you ask us to delete them. Same purge routine, same guarantee.
- Employment records: for the periods required by state and federal employment, tax and licensing rules.
- Security and server logs: short-term, on Cloudflare's standard schedule, which we do not control.
The purge currently runs when an owner triggers it rather than on an automatic nightly schedule, because the scheduled-job feature on our host needs an account change we have not made yet. It is checked weekly against this policy. When it is automated, this paragraph is replaced with the schedule.
9. How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS and sits behind Cloudflare's network protections. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted. The internal inbox where leads and applications are read is password-protected and is blocked from search engines; today the company is small enough that the owner is the only person with the credential, and if that changes we will move to individual accounts and remove access the day somebody leaves. Resume files are not currently stored at all (§7). No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you as required by law and tell you what happened.
10. Your choices
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete information we no longer need to keep for legal, tax or licensing reasons.
- Stop emailing or texting you, every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and STOP works on any text once texting is live.
Email dispatch@resolutesecurityla.com or call (504) 236-4820. We respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will not discriminate against you for making a request.
11. Children's privacy
This website is for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Employment with us requires you to be at least 18 for unarmed work and 21 for armed work. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top and, for anything significant, say so on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
