Why the schedule has to be random

A patrol on a fixed schedule is a timetable for whoever is watching your property. Two visits at 11pm and 3am, every night, tell a thief exactly when they have four hours. Randomization is not a flourish; it is the entire mechanism by which patrol works at all.

Our visits are randomized inside the window you buy, with a minimum gap so they do not bunch, and each one is GPS- and time-stamped at checkpoints you and we choose together, the far fence line, the fuel point, the rear door, wherever the actual exposure is rather than wherever is convenient to the truck.

What the checkpoint report contains, and why it matters later

Each visit produces the arrival and departure time, the checkpoint hits in sequence with coordinates, photographs of anything that changed since the last round, and the officer's note. You get it automatically, and it is the same record whether the night was quiet or not.

The reason to care about a quiet night's report is the claim you have not made yet. When an insurer or a carrier asks what coverage existed on the night of a loss, “we had a patrol company” is worth very little and a timestamped checkpoint history is worth a great deal. That record is most of what you are buying.

Patrol versus a static post, priced honestly

Patrol is the right economics for a lot that sits empty overnight: four randomized visits in a marked vehicle instead of a standing officer. For a site where something is actively happening, a live construction phase, a property with a current trespass problem, an occupied building, patrol documents the aftermath and a post prevents it.
